1 - Menu: Involves the menu buttons. Press 'Quit' to exit program. Use the 'Select Avatar T-Shirt' to select a dress for the avatar. The change will take effect after you synthesize the sign again. 'Help' and 'About' menus show the documentation.

2 - Information Text: The relevant information will be shown here. When you select the sign that you want to practice, you can see the name of the sign in this field. The result of your trial will be shown here. The result can give OK (you made it correctly), false, head OK-hands false outputs. In addition, if there becomes an error, it will be shown here.

3 - Sign Selection Popup: You can select the sign you want to learn and practice by this popup.

4 - Training Video Player Controls: Play, Pause and Stop buttons to control training video.

5 - Training Video Display: Display for training video.

6 - Try Button: This button is to try the sign yourself and see the result.

7 - Captured Video / Segmented Video Selection Popup: The selected video will be shown in the practice video display.

8 - Practice Video Player Controls: Play, Pause and Stop buttons to control practice video.

9 - Practice Video Display: Display for practice video.

10 - Synthesize Button: Synthesizes the motion and creates the synthesis video. You can press play button to see the resulting video.

11 - Synthesis Video Player Controls: Play, Pause and Stop buttons to control synthesized video.

12 - Synthesis Video Display: Display for synthesis video.

- Adjust the camera view as in the training videos. Select the correct anti-flicker rate from the camera settings.

- Be careful with the lightning and the background. The lightning should be equal in the practising region and on the background. In addition, the background should not contain any colors with the same colors of the gloves. The face should take enough light.

- Wear the yellow glove to your left hand and blue glove to your right hand. Be sure that your t-shirt is not the same color with the gloves. It is necessary for the segmenter to work properly.

- Show your computer's screen to the background so that you can see the information on screen when you are trying to make the signs.

- Select the sign which you want to learn or try.

- If you want to learn the sign, use the training video player controls to watch it.

- When you feel ready, press the try button and get your position. Look at the screen of your computer. When it tells you to start in the popup, start the sign. (All signs start with your hands out and ends again with the same position. Watch the training videos to see.)

- After running, the result will be shown in the information text.

- If you want to watch the captured video, choose 'Show original' from the practice popup and play the video. You can also watch the captured video by selecting 'Show segmented' option.

- If you want to see the synthesized video, press the 'Synthesize' button and wait for the creation of the video. Then use the controls to watch the video.

- You can change the avatar's dress from the Settings menu, and synthesize again.

- To exit the program, use File->Quit.
